Quiet weeks: one line in the email (“rooms are not the story”). Event weeks (US Open, Airshow, July 4): PCH corridor vs. Harbour vs. inland near the 405. Book early, walk or bike to the pier, expect parking theater.
Pacific Airshow is Oct 2–4, 2026. That is the next stay paragraph that actually matters.
